Day 35 - Bolsena 26th June 2024

Great sleep. Woke up about 8.15am.

Shower, cycling gear and out.

Komoot ride following some of the via Francigena (Italian Camino).

Lovely ride.

Then cycled round the lake and eventually back into the old town for a sandwich and a beer. Everything was shutting as it approached 14:00 for the afternoon siesta. It'll open up again in about 3 hours.

Back to the campsite and sorted out the van as have a potentially long drive tomorrow heading towards Nice.

Then met up with Andy and Amanda who had just flown in from the UK! 

Lovely meal overlooking the lake - not too expensive as we had 3 courses, couple of carafes of wine and grappa to finish.. We were on a pontoon over the lake.

The lemon pudding was exceptional!

Then back to the campsite using the path by the lake... in the dark.
