Woke up about 8.15 am.

Good nights sleep. Still needed the duvet though!

Packed the tent away quite quickly as it was heating up. With the van I don't need to put it back in it's bag I just fold it up and lob it in the back.

Washed/showered and shaved and then filled my 10 liter water bottle.

Paid... with 3 big beers came to 58 Euros. So 23 Euros a night. Not bad but expensive compared to some. I'd have paid that for the pool alone!

The noise here from the road is very loud. It's the A2 extension traffic but they rumble through all night.. so I used my earplugs and didn't hear it at all.

After leaving the campsite, small roads until you get to the main A2. Then it's plain sailing all the way to Igoumenista where the temperature was 37C!

Put the tent up in a lovely spot with some shade. The campsite (Elenas beach) is I think about 23 Euros a night and directly on the beach. I'll find out how much in 3 days.

Went for a swim then into the nearby town on the eBike for some supplies. Mainly beer and bananas!

Stopped on the front at Kostas gyro and a had a Souvalaki/beer and coffee (with water) for 16 euros.

Then brought my "supplies" back to the campsite and put them in tone of the campsite fridges.

Oh yes - cold beer. Amazing how many beers one can get in panniers...

They even have a deep freeze for Ice!

In and out of the sea to cool down. More times than I could count.

No need for a towel you are drying as you emerge from the sea.

Watched the football in the restaurant area with a beer (or 2).

Cold shower needed before sleep as it was (or felt like 31C at 23:00).

Van from Slovakia pulled in beside me. Poor guy hadn't got a working AC and was cooked. Got him a cold beer from the fridge and he and his son went in for a swim.

Burnt a hole in one of my plates!

Still warm when went to bed!

So hot left front and sides open for a bit of breeze. Cold shower time.

Top tip: For visits to the toilet/shower/wash basins.. a sainsburys bag or other waterproof with all your stuff in (including towel) is ideal (see picture above) as no water gets in from the bottom.
