Day 17 - Thessaloniki - Possidi - 8th June 2024

Yay! Off to pick up Catherine and Eleanor from Thessaloniki airport.

Woke up really early today @6.30 am. so 4.30 UK time. Still quite cool though very bright at this time.

I packed up the van and took down the tent and folded it back in its bag. This is the longest time - 3 days - I've stayed in 1 spot since leaving the UK.

Someone wanted to come with me. Before I shut the van I had to check for cats!

The German in the van next door even said how quick it was at taking it down!

Little bit of breakfast/coffee/shower (again no one but me - am I later than others, earlier than others or do they just not shower?) and I went to pay.

50 Euros for 3 nights with WiFi and electricity. Hot showers and 2 beers!

Then I potted along the E-75 about 9.00 am. in the direction of the airport. Couple of tolls - ones like 0.90 cents. I would be far to early so I went past a couple of miles to a small town by the sea. 

There I picked up a coffee and a yogurt with fresh fruit for 9 euros.

Back to P4 (short-stay at Thessaloniki airport) which is really close and will work out at about 10 euros (as I'll be over the 20 minutes of free time).

The air conditioning in the airport is so cold I have to keep going outside!

They arrived (hurray!) and were through quickly. Walked over to the van and drove to the villa in Possidi

Lovely villa in quiet area with a massive pool! Small drive to get down so I'll leave vanny outside (it will be sad).
