The sun has got his hat and is coming out to play - about time!
I woke up to sunshine coming into the tent and it was warm. Lovely!
Checking the weather forecast there is no rain forecast (I'll believe it when I see it) but with the washing machines and the weather now would be a good time to do some non-hand washing.
So while the washing was underway I typed up some of the blog. The WLAN reaches all the way over to the other side of the campsite and is strong enough to use for the blog.
Tables, ping-pong tables, fitness equipment and a well stocked barbecue area. You buy the meat they have supplied the stuff to cook it with!
Once the washing was complete I put up a washing line using the roof rack mounts of the van and put the clothes out to dry.
About 11 am. I was ready to leave and used the eBike as I'm likely to cover a bit more distance and want to go up to the citadel - which is more of a climb than I want to do on the Brompton!
I followed a Komoot route into Budapest and it was better than the route I took on the Brompton it followed more cycle paths.
Loads of great sights and architecture.
I really like Budapest. Seems bigger than Prague - which I also liked. You could definetely spend a long weekend here and not be bored. Spread out though you would do a lot of walking. I've covered over 20 miles today and dont feel like I've done much of the city. I havent cycled along the Danube in either direction for instance.
A late lunch was had at Burger and Beer - very apt.
Then a very pleasant cycle back through the suburbs to the campsite for a shower and recharge everything before I move on tomorrow in the direction of Belgrade.
